Natte Valleij Stellenbosch Cinsault 2022 is a graceful, single-vineyard red made from 100% Cinsault by Alex Milner in Stellenbosch. Sourced from 46-year-old bush vines planted on decomposed granite beneath the Helderberg Mountain, the vineyard faces west toward False Bay, only 7km away, giving the wine its fresh maritime character. Affectionately called the “ballerina in the cellar,” it was matured for 11 months in concrete egg to preserve purity, energy and poise. At 12% alcohol, it offers bright red fruit, cherry, gentle spice and elegant freshness, making it a vibrant expression of old-vine South African Cinsault with a lively lingering finish.
